Call us at (734) 340-3345 between 9am-9pm EST. If we miss your call, please leave us a message and we’ll call you back asap.

Reservation must be secured with a valid credit card. We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

All gift card cards, coupons, vouchers, and/or gift certificates must be declared at time of booking.

Deposit of 50% is due AT BOOKING via credit card. The remaining balance plus taxes is due AT CHECK IN.

Check-in is between 2-5 pm EDT. While arrivals prior to 2pm are not guaranteed, an early check-in can sometimes be accommodated with prior arrangement and additional fees. Please call/text/email to inquire. If you will be arriving after 5:00pm ET, please indicate your expected arrival time when you make your reservation and we’ll follow-up with you to confirm details.

Check-out is 11:00am EST.

All cancellations MUST be made by phone, not via email.

Due to the size of our inn, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy:

OVERNIGHT ROOMS: 50% deposit upon reservation. Full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee, with 30 days from the reservation. Within 30 days of the reservation, no refund of deposit.

WHOLE INN: 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking.

EVENTS up to 20 people: 50% deposit upon reservation. Full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee, with 30 days from the reservation. Within 30 days of the reservation, no refund of deposit.

EVENTS between 21- 50 people: 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking.

If you need to change your reservation, please call us.

If a guest fails to check-in or departs prior to check-out date, full payment of the entire length of stay will be charged.

No refunds are provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations.

Only registered guests are allowed in The Newton of Ypsilanti or on our grounds.

No visitors, friends, family, guests of guests, extra people of any kind or tours are allowed, as we want to be considerate of our other guests and neighbors.

Per Michigan state law and our insurance restrictions, there is no smoking or vaping of any kind or any open-flame candles allowed in or on the premises of The Newton of Ypsilanti. Violation of this policy will result in a $250 deep cleaning fee. You will also be charged for any items that are permanently damaged.

While we love our four-legged friends, pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted for the safety and comfort of all our guests. We are happy to recommend nearby kennel services. Mack, the inn’s resident tabby cat, lives onsite in the owner’s separate apartment.
